More noodley tone clips of my Reeder-modded Mesa Boogie Lone Star Classic, 1x12 combo. Using 6L6s, 50 watt setting, full AC, tube rectifier, loop disengaged. The amp is loaded with a 50w Weber Blue Dog Ceramic speaker. Fender American Deluxe Strat, No pedals or external junk. Demoing the higher gain possibilities with single-coils, drop tuning and a fair amount of gain. Dirty clean and clean dirty. The video card filled up right as I was reaching the end of... whatever I thought I was doing. This clip shows both channels, with almost identical settings (Ch2 as follows): Drive engaged, Thicker Dr: 3:00 Ga: 2:00 Tr: 1:00 Mi: 10:30 Ba: 10:30 Pr: 11:00 Ma: 9:30 Slight reverb. Audio is just the camera's condenser mic, the Zoom in the foreground turns out not to be ideal for this kind of close-up recording, or I need to learn more about how to make it work for this.
